Mason's Birthday

So Mason's birthday is this upcoming Friday- Jan 30, and I have invitations for people, but haven't gotten them out yet, sorry! So the quick 411 is Friday, 4-6pm, at Classic Skate in Orem, 250 S. State. Hope you guys can make it!

It's that time again...

Well this is a big year for Sipa and I, we are turning the big 30/40, he's not going to like that I posted that, but it's life and in 10 yrs, I'll be the one turning 40, and we'll have a party then- yikes! This year, it's about getting healthy again, my ultimate goal is to get down to the size I was when I got preg with Mas, and then get a tummy tuck to lose the nasty stretched out skin which, after losing 100 lbs since I had him, and 2 c-sections, this flab is not going anywhere without some serious coaxing (from a surgeon) SO....this means it's time to get in shape and start running again- the bonus, Sipa is going to do this with me, running 5ks and everything. So I'm putting it in writing, I'm running- not walking- at least 1 5k every month, the plan so far is

Manu's going to do some with me, and Sipa is going to also, anyone else is more than welcome to, as added incentive, after each race we go out for breakfast, gotta replace those carbs- lol but here's to getting healthy and in shape in 2009!

kids say the funniest things

so tonight Mason has had a mouthful and a half to say, it started off when he found something on the ground and said "what the hell?" to which Sipa and I both said, umm, excuse me?, I asked Mason, where did you hear that, his reply, Daddy. Ummm, Sipa?! Then, I purchased Mariokart for our Wii, and Mason, who wants to play all by himself without help, has been uttering things like, "Talleyho!" "Go Talley!" "Gnarley Hot!" and the kicker..."slow and steady wins the race Kady, slow and steady" Who's kid is this anyway!

yes, we are still alive

There's so much to post about the holiday happenings. We flew to Oakland and drove down to Oakdale Christmas Eve to spend a week with my family. We enjoyed lots of food and lots of fun visiting with both sides of my family, and spending a day going to Columbia and Knights Ferry. They are both old historic town that growing up we would go on field trips to, I'll talk more about them when I post those, I'm still waiting to get back a pic we took in old fashioned clothes, for now know that we survived our trip to Cali...coming back to way too much snow...school starting, again...and now we're all trying to get over a very nasty cold, all in all, we have a very good life.
